Resonant Frequency Medicine with Dr. Jessie
What is Frequency Medicine?
When we say "Frequency Medicine," we are encompassing frequency specific microcurrent healing therapies as taught by Dr. McMakin and as frequency specific PEMF therapies as expanded by Dr. Jessie. We deal with dual-channel microcurrent and PEMF.
FREUQUENCY SPECIFIC MICROCURRENT
Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a non-invasive and painless way to address numerous medical conditions using a mild, low-level electrical current. These micro-amperage currents are similar to the electrical current your body conducts in order to transmit information, instructions, perform cellular functions, activate and relax muscles, release neurotransmitters and more.
Frequency Specific Microcurrent is delivered by a licensed medical professional who has undergone FSM training and for whom the use of a TENS unit is included in their scope of practice. This includes medical doctors, osteopaths, naturopaths, chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, acupuncturists, and licensed massage therapists.
Dr. Jessie works holistically with you to design a fully customized plan of care that aims to address the root cause of imbalance. Typically, root causes benefit from the reduction of inflammation, resolving energetic debt, repairing tissue, reducing toxicity burden, resolving trauma, and relieving pain. FSM enables us to address these various roots without drugs or surgery.
However, when surgery is inevitable, we can optimize and expedite your recovery in a holistic manner. In many cases, FSM produces immediate and significant changes in tissue that patients / clients can feel.
IS FREQUENCY SPECIFIC MICROCURRENT EVIDENCE - BASED?
FSM is currently being researched and utilized at the Cleveland Clinic, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for Wounded Warriors, at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, and at many other leading-edge facilities worldwide.
Dr. Jessie is currently working on publishing a Case Report on FSM. More and more studies are emerging with evidence demonstrating the efficacy of FSM.
WHAT IS FSM TREATMENT LIKE?
FSM is a subsensory (patients don't feel the current) electrotherapeutic modality for treating pain and inflammation using a low-level, micro amperage current (in millionths of an ampere). The current is delivered to specific body structures, tissues, and organs to relieve pain and promote healing. Frequencies are delivered in pulses per second, measurable in hertz (Hz).
Through FSM in the clinical setting, it has been indicated that various frequencies can potentially reduce inflammation (swelling), improve circulation, repair tissue, and reduce pain. It is a non-invasive and painless treatment that treats specific types of muscle pain, nerve pain, and medical conditions without pharmaceuticals or surgery.
FSM powerful way to reduce pain and inflammation. This modality also enables us to soften adhesions and scar tissue, often with lasting effects after a single session. Treatment is pain-free and nourishing to the body, increasing Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) production by up to 500% which improves mitochondrial function and cellular energy.

How are Frequencies Delivered?
Dual-channel specific frequencies can be delivered in a number of ways. Most commonly, practitioners use electrode sticky pads (the same pads you would use with a TENS unit). In our clinic, because we utilize so many microcurrent units concurrently, we standardly attach alligator clips to a warm, damp towel in order to deliver the pulsed electrical current. A third option, a magnetic converter, converts electrical pulses into a magnetic field, also known as a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) system. Additionally, eye probes can be used for visuomotor training, and skin probes can be used to very efficiently remove scar tissue. Each of these setups transmits specific frequency protocols into the body, just with a different delivery system.
At Resonant Frequency Medicine, Dr. Jessie uses all of the above delivery systems in order to customize your treatment and ensure that you are receiving optimal benefit from your session.
What Conditions Can Frequency Specific Microcurrent Treat?
The range of conditions FSM can effectively treat continues to expand. FSM only works if you target the correct condition with the appropriate specific frequency. This demands an expert diagnostic evaluation and tissue assessment to identify the source of your pain or dysfunction, then tailoring your customized FSM treatment plan to address the root cause and provide effective, long-lasting healing and relief.
