Hayloft Yoga Classes

About Hayloft Yoga Classes

"The core principles of yoga—awareness, breathwork, balance, presence, union—are the very qualities that make an equine-rider partnership truly exceptional.  Practicing and enhancing your own embodiment, self-awareness, and internal balance (both physically and mentally) always results in a more effective seat and a happier horse, who no longer has to compensate for your (usually unconscious) physical imbalances.  How many times have we created a challenge for our equine partner because of our lack of awareness of our own body's misalignments?  We can learn to cultivate this awareness and stop them before they start by becoming balanced and whole in our own bodies prior to mounting up.  This is one of the best gifts you can give your horse: a balanced, harmonized body."

& Doctor of Physical Therapy
